Third interview with Professor James Vickers, Director, Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre.

Professor Vickers is the Director of the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre. His research interests include neurodegenerative disease (particularly Alzheimer's disease), traumatic brain injury, structural brain plasticity, dementia risk reduction and health services for dementia. Professor Vickers has had a keen interest in the role of education for dementia, and this has contributed to the development of the Wicking Centre’s Massive Open Online Courses in dementia, the Bachelor of Dementia Care program, and the NHMRC-funded Tasmanian Healthy Brain Project. Professor Vickers is a Past-President of the Australasian Neuroscience Society, and currently serves on the boards of the Dementia Australia Research Foundation, Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation and Glenview Community Services.
